ZANESVILLE, OH — In celebration of Earth Week 2025 (April 21–25), Muskingum Iron & Metal is launching community-focused campaigns that combine environmental action with local giving.

All three locations—in Zanesville, Cambridge, and Hebron—will offer special aluminum can pricing throughout the week to encourage recycling.

As part of its annual Earth Week efforts, the company is also partnering with seven local elementary and middle schools for an educational recycling program. Schools will collect aluminum beverage cans, which will be weighed and recycled. Muskingum Iron & Metal will make a matching cash donation to each school based on their total. Students will also paint the recycling containers to raise awareness in a creative, experiential way.

Additionally, Muskingum Iron & Metal will donate to The Animal Shelter Society based on the total pounds of aluminum cans they recycle during April.
